Digital Cameras - Your First Digital SLR

Im want to start this article off the wrong way round and say that I've chosen Canon 500D. Let me explain! So you've always loved photography but never had the kit, you have the mind and desires, but not got around to getting your first real camera. Its as simple as taking an entry level Digital SLR isn 't it? Not always! I was the same as you. I had been in art and photographs for a long time, but never had a good camera to meet my ambitions. Closest I came was to play s my dad 'old Canon SLR, which was great fun, but due to lost film, I never really learned much from it. I thought about getting a mouse is just too expensive, then had a set point and shoot camera. But recently everything changed. I'd saved up enough money and people will plump for my Digital SLR. There are many cameras on the market, and by various makers. If you talk to people more theyll tell you they do best either Canon or Nikon. Maybe because they have been playing longer and more invested in their digital lines. In the end I went with Canon because I like their appearance and their features more than Nikon and partly because some of \ my father's old lenses will work with. When looking for your first digital SLR the most important thing you can do is go to an actual store and play with it. It may be the best camera for most of the functions cheaper price, but if it feels strange in your hand, you won 't enjoy using it. Canon 500D is an entry level camera, it means 's designed to help budding photographers get the picture and help them along. It also means that there will be many semi-automatic features to help you get started too. It has many features and impressive enough Image Stabilization to help you keep your images from shaking. My favorite feature f 500D is that you can control all its features abound with one hand only, which makes it very easy by changing settings and creating your lap on the fly. It has a very clever click wheel for this. Another priority of this device has over competitors is that it can make for very high ISO 'means that you ll ' be able to get great exposure, even in low light. It can also get full HD video, although it may be a little jerky. Best to stick to 720p and get a higher framerate in my opinion. Other features this camera has a hot shoe for external flash, an SD card slot for memory and a lot of grippy control which helps with the feeling of the camera in hand. As entry level DSLR 's go, you d' be hard to find something better. As for how it fits into an entry level Canon cameras its just a little more expensive than the 450D, but for that you get more megapixels and HD video. It 's not worth forking out more about 55D, that all this has been a little better HD video.
